The UW-Consortium Advantage
 AACSB Accreditation

A Tradition of Excellence

Our universities are part of the University of Wisconsin System, one of the largest and most prestigious public higher education systems in the United States. Our campus MBA programs historically rank among the finest graduate programs in our regions. Collectively, we have over one hundred years of experience in the field of graduate education.

Using the knowledge gained from managing our own campus MBA programs, we have developed the first collaborative online MBA program offered by the UW System.

AACSB Accreditation

AACSB Accreditation

The Consortium business schools are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). AACSB accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools, worldwide.

Fewer than 15% of all business schools in the world have achieved this mark of excellence.

Institutions that earn accreditation confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review.

Qualified, Experienced Faculty

Our faculty have Ph.D.s and strong academic credentials. They are professionally active in consulting, applied research, and serve on boards of corporate and nonprofit organizations.

All online faculty are experienced teachers. Nearly all teach in our on-campus graduate programs. Because teaching an online course is different than teaching a campus one, our faculty are required to complete a four-week online teacher certification course. The certification course is facilitated by highly successful online faculty and allows new faculty to experience online education from the student's point of view.

Continuous Improvement Process

Quality through Continuous Improvement

Our ongoing assessment process helps to ensure quality instruction and customer satisfaction. We follow WCET distance education course standards in developing and assessing our courses. New courses are reviewed by our academic standards and assessment committee in the concept stage, during the development stage, and prior to launching on the Internet.

Student feedback is sought on the quality of instruction, the content of our courses, and the educational delivery system through course evaluations and annual surveys.

The faculty also participate in an evaluation process through maintenance and revision of their courses. Courses are reviewed before each session with changes and corrections made as needed.
