MBA 743 – Reengineering Financial Performance

Description

Traditional accounting practices may not accurately reflect the true value of organizations undergoing reengineering. This course investigates using a "balanced scorecard" approach in analyzing performance. The course focuses on an examination of how performance measurement is changing in the information age and how the balanced scorecard fits into that change. Students will develop a list of metrics for the four perspectives of the balanced scorecard and examine the relationship between measurement and strategy.
