Satisfactory Academic Progress

Requirements

Foundations: Satisfactory progress is defined as the maintenance of a GPA of 3.00 or higher. A maximum of five credits of C work in Foundation courses will be accepted. A course in which a grade of less than C is earned will not be counted as fulfilling a Foundation requirement but will be computed in the GPA.

MBA Program: Satisfactory progress is defined as the maintenance of a GPA of 3.00 or higher (Grades obtained in the completion of foundation courses count in the computation of GPA). A maximum of six credits of C work in MBA courses will be accepted. A course in which a grade of less than C is earned will not be counted toward the 30-credit MBA minimum, but will be computed in the GPA.

Dismissal

If you earn a D or F in a graduate level course, either at the Foundation or the MBA level, you will be dropped from the program regardless of whether the course was taken as part of the UW MBA Consortium Program or at another college or university. You may petition for readmission to the program by writing to:

Transfer Courses

While foundation grades are counted in the computation of GPA by the UW MBA Consortium, grades in transfer courses are not counted in GPA computation.
