Regional Trade Agreements and Multinational Corporations

This course introduces students to issues relating to regional trade agreements, also commonly referred to as trading blocs, such as: the impetus to their formation, the degree to which parties equally benefit from their participation, and the impact of these agreements on global trade. Special attention will be given to regional trade agreements in the Americas, Asia and Europe. Finally, this course will examine how regional trade agreements might affect Multinational Corporations (MNCs).
