Summer Course Registration

The summer Foundation and Elective courses are now listed on the Class Schedule page.

Remember, priority Summer Registration begins on Feb 9th. Register EARLY for the biggest choice of classes.

We do keep wait lists in the MBA office.  If you cannot get into a class, be sure to let Jan Stewart (stewarjm@uwec.edu) or Ashley Brott (brottam@uwec.edu) know that you would like to be waitlisted.

Please do not sign up for more classes than you expect to take.  This is unfair to your fellow students who are trying to build their schedules.

Packer Ticket Giveaway Became Early Christmas Gift

"I was extremely excited when I found out I won the Packer tickets, I honestly forgot I was in the running for them!" said Consortium alumnus Dave Meyer.

As part of our postcard campaign to update the Consortium Website, we offered a chance to win tickets to the Packer/Viking game as incentive.  Dave was the lucky winner.

He added,   Unfortunately, I wasn't able to leave work that day to attend the game (just like me, all work and no play).   The good news is, my parents were able to attend the game and had a great time!  Nothing like an early Christmas present and Vikings beat down!"

Our thanks to Dave and a big "GO PACK" to his parents.

Microsoft Office

What would life be like without constant change!  Microsoft Office 2010 is now available.  Some of our partner institutions have moved to that product; others still use Office 2007.  Some of our students -- especially those purchasing new computers -- have that product; others still use Office 2007.

From limited experimentation, we are comfortable that there will not be many difficulties based on access to either 2007 or 2010 -- nothing like the issues that the move between Office 2003 and Office 2007 created!

If you do encounter issues, please let us know (BIZD2LHELP@uwec.ed) so we can help find appropriate workarounds.
