Why did you chose the UW MBA Consortium? When I first decided to pursue my MBA, I had several factors that were important to me – top-ranked, online, asynchronous, and leadership-focused curriculum. The UW MBA Consortium program met all of my expectations, and it was this program’s leadership-focused curriculum that ultimately made the Consortium the right choice for me. Although all MBA programs focus on business aspects like accounting, finance, and communication, I wanted a program that taught through the lens of leadership first. The UW MBA Consortium program does just that.
What has been the best part of your experience thus far? The best part of my experience thus far has been the excellent course material. While the flexibility, excellent peers, and knowledgeable professors have been wonderful, the material in each course has highly expanded my expertise in every area of business and leadership. It has been well-worth the hard work that goes into each class.
What advice do you have for prospective and/or new students? My advice for prospective students is to spend time defining your MBA program priorities then ask as many questions as you can. For some of you, it is your money, and for all of you, it is your time – do not be shy about gathering all the information you need to make the best choice for you! My advice for new students is to bring your expertise and keep an open mind going into each course, as there is always more each of us can learn.
Please share a fun fact about yourself: I read about one book per week. I am always ready to talk about books and forever willing to give and receive recommendations!
