The UW MBA Consortium jumped 19 spots from last year’s ranking, the second-most of any program, into the No. 18 spot in the 2026 Poets&Quants Online MBA Rankings, announced December 22.
This year, Poets&Quants included 61 online MBA programs in its annual list. With hundreds of online MBA programs offered nationally, being selected for this ranking is highly competitive. The UW MBA Consortium is just one of 16 schools that have appeared in every one of the organization’s nine annual rankings released to date. This distinction underscores the program’s long-standing commitment to high-quality online business education.
Managing Director Jessica Franson shared, “Rankings like this help remind us why we do what we do. Our faculty and staff care deeply about providing an online MBA experience that is flexible, supportive, challenging, and impactful for working professionals. It’s rewarding to see that work recognized through this ranking.“
Poets&Quants evaluates programs based on admissions standards, academic experience, and career outcomes. The UW MBA Consortium continues to offer a top-ranked, fully online, and flexible MBA program that empowers professionals to advance their careers without having to put their lives on pause.
